Cloud hosting
Infrastructure and platform services: compute, storage, networks and related hosting that public bodies consume as a service.
Digital Marketplace · RM1557.15
G-Cloud 15 is the UK government’s latest framework for buying cloud services. eSortcode is a listed G-Cloud 15 supplier of sort code lookup, modulus checking and Confirmation of Payee APIs for public sector systems.
Finding a cloud supplier for government, the NHS or a local authority is rarely simple. Traditional procurement takes time. G-Cloud exists so eligible public bodies can search, compare and contract cloud services on the Digital Marketplace without running a long standalone tender.
G-Cloud 15 is the current version of that framework. The structure is familiar: three lots covering hosting, software and support. Buyers can move from a requirement to a contract faster than most other Crown Commercial routes allow.
Access is not the same as clarity. Hundreds of suppliers can look similar on paper. The framework makes buying quicker; choosing the right service still depends on whether the listing is specific about what is delivered, for whom, and how.
Every G-Cloud 15 service sits in one of these areas
Infrastructure and platform services: compute, storage, networks and related hosting that public bodies consume as a service.
Applications and APIs delivered over the internet. eSortcode’s sort code, modulus checking and Confirmation of Payee APIs sit in this category.
Implementation, migration, training and ongoing support around cloud services already in use or being adopted.
The framework is for UK public sector organisations, not private companies buying for themselves
Departments, agencies and arm’s-length bodies buying cloud software and APIs.
Councils and combined authorities paying suppliers, benefits and residents.
Trusts, boards and health bodies that need accurate bank details before they pay.
Schools, universities, police and other eligible public bodies on the framework.
G-Cloud 15 removes time as the main barrier. Decision-making becomes the work: who will actually deliver, who understands a public-sector environment, and who will not create problems later.
A short checklist when every listing starts to look the same
eSortcode is an HM Government G-Cloud 15 supplier. We provide UK sort code lookup and modulus checking, Confirmation of Payee and account validation that public bodies use before they make a payment.
That is a specific service: Vocalink-sourced bank data, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, REST APIs, and public and third sector rates (6% off) for eligible organisations.
If you are buying bank validation through G-Cloud, you should be able to see the product, the price model and how it integrates before you commit. Start with the modulus check demo or the developer guide.
It is the current UK government Digital Marketplace framework (agreement RM1557.15) for buying cloud hosting, cloud software and cloud support without a lengthy standalone procurement.
Public sector organisations — including central government, local authorities, NHS bodies and other eligible public bodies. It is not a route for private companies buying for their own commercial use.
Three lots: cloud hosting, cloud software and cloud support. eSortcode’s sort code, modulus checking and Confirmation of Payee APIs are cloud software.
It cuts the time to find and contract a supplier. Pricing and service descriptions are visible up front. The remaining work is choosing a supplier whose delivery model actually matches the job.
Search for eSortcode on the Digital Marketplace, or contact us and we will point you to the listing and talk through public-sector pricing and integration.
